Join us for a deliciously warm and cosy night on our beautiful terrace at the French Hub, where the tables are long, the cheese is hot, and the vibe is impeccable. 

What to expect:
A true French mountain-style feast around big communal tables shared with fellow foodies. Whether you arrive with friends or come solo, you'll feel right at home!

On the menu:
We’ve partnered once again with Supercheese to serve up the finest French raclette—melting over soft potatoes, served with some charcuterie. And the best part? You’ll get the equivalent of two portions—double the flavour, double the indulgence!

On the drinks list:
To keep you toasty, we’ll be serving up a glass of mulled wine—perfect for a winter evening—alongside a selection of non-alcoholic options so everyone can join in the cheer.

The Art of Truffle

Discover the art of truffle at the Alliance Française de Canberra!

Hosted by award-winning French chef Christophe, Knight of the Order of Agricultural Merit, this special event will invite you to discover the world of truffle through chef’s stories, a live cooking demonstration, and a full truffle-inspired dinner. The evening will include a full truffle menu with a starter, main course and dessert, accompanied by a glass of wine and live musicduring dinner for a warm and elegant dining experience. Whether you are already a truffle lover or simply curious to learn more, this evening is the perfect opportunity to enjoy a refined French dining experience right here in Canberra.

A whiskey tasting discovery journey

 

Whisky Live Australia is Australia’s longest-running whisky tasting event. Since 2009, Whisky Live has helped whisky lovers discover premium whiskies from Australia and across the world. It’s a large-format whisky tasting experience where you can compare styles side-by-side, meet brand ambassadors, and learn how whisky is made and matured. It’s structured to allow attendees to discover whisky at their own pace. Each year, Whisky Live runs whisky tasting events in multiple Australian cities including Sydney, Melbourne, Brisbane, Adelaide, Canberra, Perth, and Gold Coast.

The French-Victorian Wine Show 

Air Liquide Concours des Vins / The French-Victorian Wine Show 

FACCI’s annual celebration of Victorian winemaking excellence and French-Australian savoir-faire. Open to Victorian wineries, the competition recognises outstanding wines across four key categories: Shiraz, Chardonnay, Pinot Noir and White Aromatics, with judging led by industry professionals and results announced later in the year.

Liberté, Égalité, Gourmandise A Bastille Day

What better way to mark Bastille Day than a French table, shared with good company and exceptional wine?

 

On the evening of Tuesday 14 July, Chef Christophe Grégoire and winemaker Céline Rousseau of Eden Road Wines come together to celebrate the flavours of France — with a touch of Australian magic woven in.

 

Chef Christophe has designed a five-course menu that pays homage to the traditions of French cuisine, and in some of the dishes, you'll find something very special: truffles harvested from his own farm in Bungendore. Each course is thoughtfully matched to a premium Eden Road wine, selected by Céline herself, a meeting of two producers who share a deep respect for craft, provenance, and the pleasure of the table.

The evening begins at 5.30 pm at Eden Road's winery on the Barton Highway, Murrumbateman — a beautiful setting in the Canberra District.
